Education and experience
Irina read (Romanian) law at the University of Alexandru Ioan Cuza in Romania where she graduated in 2007. In 2008 she graduated the master programme in International and European Union law at the University of Amsterdam.
After obtaining her master diploma she worked as legal relationship manager at the Amsterdam branch of TMF-Group between 2008 and 2011.
In 2011 she enrolled in the bachelor of Dutch law at the University of Amsterdam and obtained her degree in 2013. During this studies she worked at the Centre for Energy Law of the University of Amsterdam as research assistant of professor Saskia Lavrijssen.
After obtaining her degree in Dutch law, she worked as student trainee at Amsterdam based law firms. In March 2014 she started her job as legal assistant at Schutte Schluep & Heide-Jørgensen. She was admitted to the bar (Amsterdam) in August 2014.
Speaks – besides her mother tongue Romanian – Dutch, English and Spanish.
